This journal is published biannually under the license of Attar Non-Governmental, Non-Profit Higher Education Institute. It accepts and publishes scholarly articles in Persian, accompanied by English abstracts. According to official letter No. /3/18/127663 issued by the Commission for the Evaluation of Scientific Journals of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, this journal holds a scientific publication license. Research articles aligned with the journal’s objectives and deemed valuable in terms of educational and scientific merit are accepted and published following a peer-review process based on the thematic areas announced in the call for papers.

Articles employing qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods that demonstrate innovation are reviewed in the shortest possible time and, if eligible, will be accepted and published. It is noteworthy that the peer-review process in the Journal of Financial Development is conducted under a double-blind system, meaning that the identities of authors are concealed from reviewers and vice versa.
